Factory-welded silos

Factory-welded silos are used in almost all industries. KURZ Silosysteme can manufacture these silos up to a diameter of 6,200 mm.

In addition to transport by truck, the silos can also be shipped from a neighbouring jetty by ship.

Silo components such as filters, overfill prevention devices, walk-on devices and discharge aids are also part of the range. Mechanical or pneumatic systems for filling and emptying the silos can be added to the scope of delivery.

In order to reduce assembly times on site to a minimum, the silos can be completely pre-installed at the factory. Once installed, the system is almost ready for operation.

Extended crane eyes, completely pre-assembled components and connections make this possible.

Filler towers

High volume – low space requirement

Filler towers consist of two silos that are placed one above the other. They are mostly used in asphalt mixing plants and are usually used for the storage of own and third-party filler. All components, such as filters, overfill protection, walk-on equipment and discharge aids, are part of the KURZ Silosysteme product range.

Export-divided silos

Transport-optimised

With export-divided silos, you can save a large part of the freight costs. Each silo unit consists of a few crane packages. These contain the complete silo, all accessories such as railings, ladder, filling pipe and dedusting filter as well as connecting parts and sealing material for assembly. The individual silo segments are stacked inside each other to save space. Once at their destination, the individual segments can be easily bolted together. The silos are offered in diameters from 2,400 mm to 3,500 mm with volumes from 19 m³ to 180 m³.
